Tuesday Travels: Luli Island Photos Part 1

For the first time, I am joining Tuesday Travels. I've been wanting to join this meme since the past two weeks but I never had the chance to write my post. You know, I am not that much of a travel diva for I've never been to any places outside Philippines. The only places I've ever stepped on are inside the Philippine territory.  I am just thankful that once in my life I've been to places I've longed to visit in our own country. So my purpose for joining this meme would be for me to share those travel experiences and also to let go of these photos off my computer. Lol!

For my first share, I would like to share the photos of Luli Island, one of the islands in Honda Bay in Puerto Princesa, Palawan. These photos below were taken from our tour last 2008. It was so far the grandest tour I've ever been to plus it was a honeymoon getaway.
Approaching Luli Island.
***
Luli is a short name for Lulubog-Lilitaw (Sinking-Floating). It is called Luli Island because it sinks and cannot be seen during high tide and floats or surfaces when low tide.
Luli Island is one of the Islands in Honda Bay. It was the third Island we hopped on after Snake and Starfish Island.
We weren't able to hop on all the Islands in Honda Bay but so far, among the Islands, Luli is the best for it has a little restaurant for the hungry and thirsty tourist. It as well has small rooms for rent for a quick rest and nap.

Wow! para palang The Sunken Cemetery ng Camiguin. It floats during low tide and burried deep down to the water kapag high tide.

And I love the short name Luli, hahah. Parang ngayon pa lang gusto ko na i Google to help me decide where to go exactly for our October getaway.
