Colorful Weekend #1: Fantasy Performance and Parade

I mentioned before in my previous posts about that treat to Glorietta in Dapitan City. I even posted photos of that lively and colorful fountain that you can see in there. More likely, that fountain would catch your attention first when you enter the main entrance of Glorietta.

One reason why people visit the Glorietta in Dapitan is the Fantasy Land. It is kind of Dapitan City's version of Enchanted Kingdom and Disney Land, although the two I latter mentioned are grand places for grand enjoyment and for sure, a lot more costly. Well, at least we have our version here and we do not need to fly to Manila or to the nearest Disney Land.

We only paid tickets for sight seeing that cost P200.00 per person (adult). For a ride-all-you-can ticket, the price was P500.00. It wasn't my first time in Glorietta but it was my first time inside the Fantasy Land. One that caught our attention the moment we passed the FL entrance was this colorful stage where performers in colorful fantasy costumes performed.

After the major performance, performers who are dressed in fantasy costumes like kings, queens, fairies, villains, heroes, animals and other fantasy characters had a parade around the fantasy land to the children's excitement. That was the most exciting part I think because it's the time when kids and adults can get the chance to take a closer look and have photographs with the kids' favorite fantasy characters, particularly the fairies, kings and queens.
