The last time hubby and me went to Manukan with Chizka, we toured for a few on the beach. It was nice to be cooled off by the sea breeze since the weather that day was extremely hot. Walking to the other side of the beach, we saw the ongoing construction of the seawall.
People in Manukan, particularly those who are living nearby the seashore including my parents are surely happy with the idea of building this sea wall. Many houses have already washed out off shore and this sea wall would prevent farther destruction.
While on our beach walk, we enjoyed watching these kids having fun swimming on their so called "salty swimming pool". It was a fun beach walk. I can't wait to visit my hometown again and check on the new progress of the seawall construction.
