These are the views during the election in Manukan last May 10, 2010. It took place in Manukan West and East Central Schools. All the voting rooms were packed with old and new voters pushing each other to be the first in the line to get in the room faster.
Manukan West Central School.
Me, my parents and siblings arrived at our precinct around 11 in the morning which was in West Central School, the school where I spent my elementary days. There was a long line of people at our voting room so we have to wait except my papa who managed to get in the voting room ahead of those people who were falling in line. So, we left waiting until lunchtime came. We stayed there and didn't bother to go home for lunch afraid we are going to fall another long line after lunch. We finally finished voting around 1 in the afternoon.

We then went home and pass the East Central School and saw the same scenario. People were trying to get in the line first to get in the room first. Darn, it was such an exhausting day. I got home at my parents' house exhausted and sick. Although machines were used during the election, it still took two days for all the voters to vote.

thanks to the voters who have the patience to wait to enter the room. It is worth to wait because our future depends on our vote. :)
