Viet Village In Palawan

Before heading to our great adventure inside the Subterranean River, we parked and explored first the Viet Village. According to our guide, the Village is named after the Vietnamese people who are living there.  As soon as we entered the gate of the Village, a building made of all bamboos caught our attention. It's a Viet Ville Restaurant that offers delicious Viet cuisine.

Hubby and I went inside with our guide and checked on the Menu.  The name of the foods enlisted in the menu were all unfamiliar to me so I left hubby to make an order.  The food was ok, it was some kind of a noodle soup and bread (kind of a french bread). I was not able to take picture though.
After finishing our bowls of soup, I dragged hubby to tour and look around. Walking few steps from the restaurant was a souvenir shop.  We just looked inside and continued walking until we reached to a chapel or Buddhist Pagoda.
Inside was a Buddhist altar and for the first time I saw this god that they worship - a Buddha.
It was a fun adventure inside the Viet Village. I would love to visit the place again and the next time I visit there again, I'll be asking questions for there are lots of things to know about the place.
