Manukan Sinulog Festival 2010 - Part 3

After all 6 contingents performed for the street dancing competition, I headed straight to the Municipal Ground for it was where the real competition happened. It was around 3 in the afternoon and the sky seemed gloomy.  The Holy Child must have blessed the celebration for it didn't rain a single drop until the event ended.
(You should not wonder why our town is called "Manukan" or "Chicken Farm" or "Chicken State to the youngsters because as you can see in the picture above, there's a giant statue of a Rooster.  That's the symbol of our town.)

The Manukan Municipal ground were packed with people, both viewers and dancers in different and lively colors during the Manukan Sinulog Festival 2010. All people from each barangays seemed gathered all together to witness another remarkable event in Manukan. The viewers were trying to find a good spot for their kids to see clearly, or somewhere they can sit. Well, I was too lucky to find a perfect spot for taking good photos and that was near the stage where the judges and the Manukan officials were at. It was a no-sitting spot though.
