Catching Fish and Bait

While my husband was busy catching fish at shallow sea water in my hometown (Manukan) and smiling for the camera,

I was also busy catching blood worms for bait. Well, I actually grabbed this pale from the kids that contains a mixture of water and some pig foods. It is the blood worms food. All you have to do is sprinkle a little bit of that mixture down then blood worms will start showing up from under the ground. You have to be quick though in grabbing then up because they are quicker than you. Too bad I only caught one.

Blood Worms by the way is used by most of the fishermen in my hometown to catch fish using fishing rod. I don't know where else the fishermen can use blood worms but i know for sure they are using it for fishing rods as bait. Here is a photo of a blood worm.

It may look scary but trust me it is harmless. It is very tiny and slippery and giggly. I have touched many of these already if I am going to add those during my younger days.

Nice photo of your hubby in the water, and explaining about the bloodworms. Fishing is not for me though. Thanks for sharing.

The term fishing may be applied to catching other aquatic animals such as shellfish, cephalopods, crustaceans, and echinoderms. The term is not usually applied to catching aquatic mammals, such as whales, where the term whaling is more appropriate, or to farmed fish. In addition to providing food, modern fishing is also a recreational sport.
