I went to Manukan(parents home) last Thursday, August 20, 2009 because it was my father’s 53rd birthday. Since our mother is not home, it would be nice to have all the children there with our father for his birthday. The pain of mama’s absence is enough that’s why I really made sure that I am present on his birthday. We didn’t have a big celebration, just enough for the family to have a sumptuous dinner. After dinner came the drinks, that was the most enjoyable part. Papa loves it so much. Lol.
On the other hand, that day I went home to celebrate my father’s birthday, Demcy was also celebrating her birthday. I was sad I was not able to greet her on her very day but I know my b-day greeting is still acceptable.

Happy Birthday sa imu papa sis, ka sweet sa imu papa ug lola ba na nimu. Malooy ko sa imu papa nga nag birthday wala imu mama. Maka relate ko sa imu story chie ky ako mama ug papa sge sd na sila away, naa one time niadto na sa cebu ako papa, ky gipalayas sa ako mama, didto intawn na siya puyo sa akong apartment, magulanon ug hitsura. Hope ma settle ra ang differences sa imu parents sis, coz its really sad if one of our parents not around.

Happy bday to your dada sis chie. Even though your mom is still not there, i know your dad is happy still. Present man iyaha mga mahal nga anak. Hope one day your family will be reunited again!
