At Dr. Jose Rizal's Museum - Fort Santiago

I was not able to take more photos at Rizal's museum and i am having remorsement right now. Actually i only took two pictures, one is his framed picture at the entrance. I wish i have taken some more.

Inside the display is a lantern which held a letter (letter is etched on the glass) written by Dr. Jose Rizal the night before his execution. They said that the letter was supposedly for his mother but he was not able to give it because the Spaniards did not let him see his mother. The lantern also contained a bone fragment which they said is his.

In the picture below, Gary's standing by the gate of Dr. Jose Rizal jail. If you notice the footprints on the ground, that's the starting point of his last walk to martyrdom.

Our National Hero's statue, Dr. Jose Rizal. He will be forever remembered.
