My critter for today is a 3M pesos giant statue of a rooster you can only find in Manukan, Zamboanga del Norte, Philippines - my hometown. Rooster is our hometown's landmark as to what the name of the town implies -Manukan or Chicken Farm. Inside this giant statue is a mini museum where you can find the pictures of all the town's mayor and the profs for Sinulog Dance festival. This giant statue was featured last night on Jessica Soho's show on GMA, channel 7.
